There are experiences that change the rhythm of the day: getting out on the water, feeling the gentle swaying of the board, and moving forward calmly as the shoreline opens up in front of you. Between beaches and estuaries, this activity combines nature, sport and a feeling of freedom that is difficult to explain... but very easy to live with.
Paddle Surf Asturias: A plan to disconnect and move over incredible waters in Llanes
Paddle Surf Asturias (also known as SUP or Stand Up Paddle) is an ideal activity for beginners and for those who want to get started or improve with good technique. Although it is easy to learn with proper instruction, it is a well-rounded sport that works a large part of the body and helps improve balance, coordination, and mental clarity. The course is designed for all audiences and levels, with qualified instructors, material included and a spectacular tour along the coast of Llanes.
A guided tour of beaches and estuary, step by step and safely
The experience begins with a theoretical talk to learn the basic techniques needed. Then, you equip yourself and go out on the water accompanied at all times by qualified instructors. There are walks along different beaches in the council, with a usual route that can start at Playa Palombina and continue through Borizo and Barro to the Niembro estuary. You can also start from other points on the Llanes coast (for example, the Niembro estuary or Palombina Beach), always looking for the best plan of the day to enjoy the environment.
